Alice brings a strong set of business skills, as a graduate of Columbia University in Mathematics and University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business, as well as twenty years in private industry and in consulting. She also brings her passion for the transformation of agriculture and the Chesapeake Food Shed, having worked in 2005 to create North County Preservation, Inc. (NCP), a local education and research group dedicated to rural land use issues, and on the profitability and sustainability of agriculture as NCP Vice-President and Board member of the Maryland Agricultural Resource Council.

focuses on outreach to members, partners, and consumers, and is the lead organizer of Future Harvest CASA's signature event, the annual Farming for Profit and Stewardship Conference. In addition to a background in international affairs and public relations, Renee brings more than ten years of experience in the local food and agriculture community. She was publisher and editor of Edible Chesapeake magazine, and has served as a communications consultant to a variety of local food businesses, as well as to organizations such as ECO City Farms and Maryland Hospitals for a Healthy Environment. She is currently board chair for ECO City Farms, board secretary for FRESHFARM Markets, and a member of the board of the Riverdale Park Farmers Market.

was instrumental in founding the Beginner Farmer Training Program in 2009, and has continuously led the program since its inception, growing it from four to participants to 12 in 2012, and from one to three training farms. Cathy also works with the Education Committee to organize and oversee Future Harvest CASA's educational field days.
