Are you looking for opportunities to network with other farmers? Want to learn more about the Virginia Farm Mentor Network?
VBFRCP will host a Farmer Mentoring Information Session in Floyd, VA, at The Country Store.
This evening session is a collaborative effort of several Coalition organizations: SustainFloyd, Virginia Association of Biological Farming,Virginia Cooperative Extension, and Virginia Tech.
The purpose of the session is to discuss the following:
  • What kinds of educational opportunities exist through the Virginia Beginning Farmer &
  • Rancher Coalition Program (VBFRCP)?
  • What is the Virginia Farm Mentor Network?
  • How can beginning and established farmers benefit and get involved?
  • What is the current state of farming in Floyd County and the southwest VA region?
